  2.  #22-36 The cases here mentioned give rules of justice then, and
  3.  still in use, for deciding similar matters. We are taught by
  4.  these laws, that we must be very careful to do no wrong, either
  5.  directly or indirectly. If we have done wrong, we must be very
  6.  willing to make it good, and be desirous that nobody may lose by
  7.  us.

  11.  - The people of God should ever be ready to show mildness and
  12.  mercy, according to the spirit of these laws. We must answer to
  13.  God, not only for what we do maliciously, but for what we do
  14.  heedlessly. Therefore, when we have done harm to our neighbour,
  15.  we should make restitution, though not compelled by law. Let
  16.  these scriptures lead our souls to remember, that if the grace
  17.  of God has indeed appeared to us, then it has taught us, and
  18.  enabled us so to conduct ourselves by its holy power, that
  19.  denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly,
  20.  righteously, and godly in this present world, #Tit 2:12|. And
  21.  the grace of God teaches us, that as the Lord is our portion,
  22.  there is enough in him to satisfy all the desires of our souls.
